Currently, there will be three possible questions can come in your mind.
- Why I select blogger platform to host my blog
- Will I leave it in future
- When I will shift my Blog to self hosted WordPress
So, please allow me to utilize your some of time to explain my point of you on each of them one by one.
Now take a start from 1st question. There are number of reason behind the selection of blogger hosting, and the top 5 I have already shared with you in previous post. But there are also bunch of plus points which are not present in any other blogger platform, that forced me to select it. Like;
- Built in Mobile Friendly Version
- Extremely easy to customize template
- Drag and Drop in Layout save a lot of time
- Built in social Sharing at bottom of post are very helpful in getting traffic and making it viral
- Built in stats very helpful to understand traffic origin, readers interest, etc.
- Very easy to do live blogging because of features of adding pictures from cell phone to Google plus and to Blog posts quickly, etc.
- Easy to moderate comments with automatic spam detection
- Quite easy to import and export blog
I Think these are enough to fall in love with blogger. :)
The next point is that will I leave blogger in future? My answers are Yes and No, Both. If YES, then when I will migrate my blog from blogger to WordPress? I will do that once I starts feeling that Blogger is unable to fulfill my requirements and observe WordPress as more powerful features wise and security.
Some people have fear that blogger delete blogs without any reason. The first thing is need to understand by folks that if you violate blogger terms and Conditions then there is a chance that they will take action against you without any second warning. Well some folks also have query that they are not getting good traffic on blogger content as compare to WordPress. Oh Friends!!! C'mon stop thing like Idiots. Kindly search Google and learn some SEO and apply them on your template and content. And check search results by using different keywords, definitely you will catch so many blogs hosted on blogger are on 1st page even .blogspot ones too. But if you still not satisfied, then don't forget Blogger is owned by Google, and they are the leading ones, and that's why their products are improving timely.
Now this post comes to its end but I want to make clear few things that My aim is not show WordPress hosting as bad. Hopefully in upcoming posts I will come up with some Benefits of Wordpress and Disadvantages of Blogger, which may you don't know yet. Just always remember that content is king not Platform. So, just keep putting your efforts in your blog, surely soon you will start getting great results. Thank you.
